The K-pop star has donated 100 million won (approximately USD 70,000) to Korea University Medical Center.

On January 23, Korea University Medical Center announced, “Jin donated 100 million won to help patients with incurable diseases in underdeveloped countries. The donated funds will be used for the ‘Global Goodwill Life Love Project’.”

Jin expressed, “I hope to bring even a small glimmer of hope to those suffering and unable to receive treatment in medical blind spots,” and added, “I want to join global fans in helping more lives.”

This project, led by Korea University Medical Center, provides international medical aid to underserved communities. Its primary goal is to provide life-saving care to patients in developing countries who face economic and healthcare access challenges.

Last year, Korea University Medical Center brought in over 10 patients from countries like Madagascar. They received treatment for incurable diseases at their hospitals in Anam, Guro, and Ansan.

Korea University Medical Center is dedicated to providing medical aid to patients with incurable diseases in developing countries through its “Global Goodwill Life Love Project”. This initiative not only saves lives but also promotes the value of life.

Meanwhile, Jin has been involved in various charitable efforts, including children’s welfare and environmental protection.

On the work front, he was discharged from the military in June 2024 and released his first-ever debut solo album “Happy” in June. He will pursue solo endeavors for now, and resume BTS activities once all members complete military service later this year. If rumors are true, BTS will drop a new album and embark on a world tour in 2nd half of the year.
