Jin’s self-composed track Abyss has been making waves worldwide, reaching the top of the iTunes ‘Top Song’ chart in an impressive 23 countries. From Portugal to Papua New Guinea, Brazil to the Dominican Republic, and beyond, fans all over the globe are showing their love and support for Jin and his amazing talent.

Abyss by Jin has gained worldwide recognition since its release in October 2022. The song’s global popularity was evident as it climbed high on multiple charts, including the Worldwide Chart, iTunes US Chart, and iTunes Europe Chart.

Abyss is a truly heartfelt song that beautifully expresses Jin’s emotions during a challenging period of burnout. With its poignant lyrics, melodic melody, and Jin’s clear and soulful vocals, the song resonates deeply with listeners.

It was released on BTS’ official SoundCloud, BANGTANTV, and blog just two hours before Jin’s birthday in December 2020. The song was officially released nearly two years later on October 21, 2022.

Jin is currently fulfilling his military service as an army assistant instructor. He is expected to be discharged in June 2024 and has plans to release an album this year.
