In an exclusive interview with Korea Dispatch, BTS‘ golden maknae, Jungkook, shared exciting details about his upcoming solo release, “3D.” The multi-talented artist gave fans a glimpse into his creative process and what they can expect from his highly anticipated second single.
Jungkook began the interview by thanking fans for showing immense love and support for his first single Seven. Then he said ‘As much as I received love, I wanted to come back as soon as possible, so I spent time working really hard. Then please look forward to seeing me change with ‘3D’ again.’
The Seven singer then opened up about what made him choose 3D. He expressed his admiration for the song saying, ‘3D is a song that catches my ear from start to finish, and I thought it was a really fun song when I first heard it.’
Also, the youngest BTS member was confident that he would be able to show a different side of himself with this song. While introducing the song, the Dreamer singer said it is an ‘R&B pop song’ with minimal musical instrument composition and old-school sound.
He also explained to his fans why his second song was titled ‘3D’. Jungkook shared that ‘the lyrics of the song contain a message that I want to meet you beyond the dimension and be with you forever like the title ‘3D’.
He also dished on his collaboration with Jack Harlow saying ‘He’s an artist that I have liked for a really long time. Jungkook added that it was a lot of fun filming the MV with Jack Harlow.
In other news, Jungkook is on the roll and graced the cover of Vogue Korea and Dazed. He even won the Best Summer Song at the VMAs for his solo single Seven.
