Photos of Jungkook dining out with his close friends Mingyu and Cha Eunwoo, recently went viral online. The three were seen together at a restaurant in Busan, Fisherian Busan, and no pictures of Jungkook and Cha Eunwoo were originally available. An employee at a Vietnamese restaurant later uploaded photos showing Jungkook, Cha Eunwoo, and Mingyu sharing a meal.
The outing was meant to be a quiet meal between friends, but workers at the restaurant shared details and photos from that night. According to the employee, the three idols were friendly and funny, even joking around when asked if they were the famous stars people thought they were.
When the part-timer asked whether they were really Jungkook, Cha Eunwoo, and Mingyu, Jungkook reportedly smiled and said, “It’s a secret.” The employee also mentioned that Jungkook bowed 90 degrees before leaving and was the one who spoke the most.
They added that all three idols were extremely handsome, polite, and humble. Another detail that amused many fans was that Jungkook and Cha Eunwoo were asked to show their IDs before they were served tequila because the staff thought they might not be old enough, thanks to their youthful looks.
Jungkook later addressed the situation during his Stationhead broadcast when someone brought up the Busan outing. He shared his honest feelings and said, “I planned to go for a secret meal, but once again, it got posted online.”
Having the photos uploaded online was disappointing for him, especially because he wanted just one peaceful meal without attention or interruption.
The incident is not the first time Jungkook’s privacy has been invaded. He has dealt with similar situations before, including fans or strangers crossing personal boundaries. In May, a few months before the Busan dinner, Jungkook addressed another serious issue on Weverse. Someone had sent food deliveries to his home without permission.
Jungkook expressed his concern and asked people to stop, saying he “would not eat the food anyway.” He warned that if it happened again, he would check the receipt number and take action. Fans were alarmed and upset that his private home address had been exposed in such a dangerous way.
Meanwhile, Jungkook plans to drop another digital single followed by a studio album, following his solo debut with record-smashing single “Seven” in July.
