Jungkook from BTS has once again proven his incredible talent and charm by winning not just one, but two awards at the 2023 MTV EMAs. He took home the trophy for Best Song and also won in the Best K-Pop category.

The official website of the 2023 MTV EMAs announced the list of winners. The 3D singer was also confirmed to perform at the MTV EMAs 2023, however, the award ceremony was canceled due to the war between Palestine and Israel.

Jungkook made history with the most nominations for a Korean solo artist at the 2023 MTV EMAs.

The Seven singer has once again shown his immense global popularity by winning awards in not just one, but two categories. This makes him the first-ever Korean solo artist to achieve such a feat at this prestigious awards ceremony.

His solo single Seven (feat. Latto) took home the prestigious Best Song trophy, beating out some major contenders like Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift.

This win is truly historic because Jungkook is the first-ever K-pop solo artist to snatch the ‘Best Song’ award. Previously, BTS also made history last year when they won ‘Best Song’ with their smash hit ‘Dynamite’ in 2020.

Seven topped Billboard’s ‘Hot 100’ chart, reached over 1 billion streams on Spotify in record time and held the number one spot on the ‘Daily Top Song Global’ chart for a whopping 70 days.
