BTS is set to return to the big screen with a large-scale global screening event titled “BTS Movie Weeks.” The announcement was made on August 20 through BTS’s official social media, along with the release of the main poster.
After their military discharge in mid-June, BTS released a live concert album, Permission to Dance on Stage – Live, with 22 songs last month. Now, fans’ schedules are packed with BTS Movie Week coming up.
A Global Screening Project for ARMY
BIGHIT MUSIC emphasized that the project was designed to bring fans back into the energy of the concert experience.
The screenings will allow fans to relive the group’s biggest milestones in cinema-quality, complete with 4K remastered visuals and 5.1 surround sound. The project will bring BTS’ most memorable performances to more than 2,000 theaters across 65 countries and regions between September 24 and October 5, 2025.
Audience members will also be encouraged to bring their official BTS light sticks, known as the ARMY Bomb, to recreate the concert atmosphere inside theaters.
Concerts Featured in “BTS Movie Weeks”
The project will screen four landmark performances from BTS’s career, each capturing a pivotal moment in their rise as global icons.
The screening series begins with BTS’s 2016 concert The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage: Epilogue. This performance was significant as it marked the group’s debut at Seoul’s KSPO Dome. This will be followed by “Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour The Final” from 2017, staged soon after BTS won the Billboard Music Award.
From there, audiences can experience “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself – London” from 2019, when BTS became the first Korean act to headline Wembley Stadium. Over two nights, they drew a combined audience of 120,000 people.
The collection also includes “Muster Sowoozoo,” the 2021 online fan meeting that celebrated the group’s 8th anniversary. Despite being held virtually during the pandemic, the event attracted 1.33 million viewers from 195 countries.

Screening Schedule and Locations
Megabox theaters will show the films from September 23 to October 21, 2025, in South Korea. Ticket sales begin on September 10. A special screening at COEX on September 23 will showcase all four films on the same day.
The rollout will be organized in phases. During the first week, theaters will feature the 2016 and 2017 concerts. The second week will highlight the 2019 and 2021 events. In weeks three and four, all four performances will be screened together. Dates for international screenings will be announced according to each country’s schedule.
Fans are encouraged to check the official BTS website for region-specific updates.
What Comes Next for BTS
Beyond the screenings, BTS has confirmed the release of a new album and a world tour in spring 2026. Since July, members have been relocating to the United States to focus on recording and rehearsals, while continuing to interact with fans on Weverse and other platforms.
With “BTS Movie Weeks,” the group not only revisits its historic stages but also strengthens its bond with fans worldwide ahead of its next chapter.
