K-pop sensation BTS is whole again!
While the group will resume activities in June 2025, all seven members of BTS united for the military discharge ceremony of the oldest member, Jin on June 12.
The 31-year-old singer enlisted in the Army as an active-duty soldier on December 13, 2022, and dutifully served as an assistant instructor at the 5th Army Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do.
At the military discharge event at the Army 5th division, all members except SUGA gathered to welcome Jin.
As promised, the Astronaut singer went live on Weverse right after discharge from the military at HYBE HQ.
After the livestream, a new photo of all seven members was shared on official social media channels, and ARMYs can not get enough of their reunion.
The photo that was shared shows all seven BTS members coming together at the Hive agency headquarters. They are all smiles, celebrating Jin’s completion of his military service, being the first member to complete the military service.
It’s been around half a year since all BTS were seen together. Before this, BTS gathered at the training center on December 11 of the previous year when RM and V began their military service and took a group picture.
Currently, six BTS members are serving in the military, excluding Jin, who has completed his service.
The remaining five members, RM, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, took a break to coincide with Jin’s discharge. They shared heartfelt hugs one by one at the discharge location, creating lasting memories. SUGA, who couldn’t be there that day, met up with Jin at the HYBE headquarters.
Lastly, ARMYs will have to wait a year for BTS to begin activities as a whole group.
