On October 19, the 30-year-old rapper performed at the Daeseong San Festival along with the military service band.

After completing his five-week basic recruit training on January 16, he was assigned to the 15th Infantry Division. He is currently serving as a member of the military band and is often spotted at military festivals.

Recently, RM performed BTS’ hit song “Spring Day” at the Daeseong San festival with the military band. ARMYs were feeling overwhelmed and emotional seeing him perform “Spring Day” without BTS members.

They are eagerly looking forward to the BTS reunion in mid-2025 and can not wait for the Bangtan boys to complete their military service in 8 months.

“Spring Day” by BTS is a heartfelt song about coping with loss and missing loved ones. Inspired by the real-life tragedy of the Sewol Ferry disaster, the song’s emotional lyrics and soothing melody capture the pain of separation. With its uplifting message, “Spring Day” offers hope and comfort, reminding listeners that even in darkness, better days will come.

Two of the BTS members have already been discharged, while the remaining members will complete their service in June 2025.

Jin was discharged on June 12 whereas J-Hope recently completed his military service on October 17.

On the work front, while RM enlisted in the military on December 11, he remained in the headlines for his solo comeback second studio album “Right Place, Wrong Person” on May 24. In addition, his collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion on the song “Neva Play” received love from fans and critics.
