BTS leader RM celebrated his birthday in a truly selfless way, donating 100 million won to a meaningful cause.

To celebrate his birthday on September 12, the 30-year-old K-pop star made a generous donation of 100 million won to the ‘Everyone’s Veterans Dream’ fund.

This fund supports the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs initiative to honor and appreciate uniformed service personnel. His contribution will be used to provide essential medical treatment and welfare services to deserving veterans and their families.

RM shared his thoughts through BIGHIT MUSIC, saying, ‘These days, I am personally feeling the dedication to the country of many people in the field. I hope to be of some small help to all the heroes who are dedicating themselves to the country at this moment, and to many people who have worked hard for peace. I sincerely thank the ARMYs who always send me abundant love and congratulations.’

RM has consistently celebrated his birthday by making generous donations. In the last few years, he has supported notable causes like forensic medicine expert training (2022) and cultural heritage preservation (2021-2022).

In addition, the Neva Play rapper has been promoting the excavation project as a public relations ambassador for the Ministry of National Defense since 2023.

On the work front, he was featured on Megan Thee Stallion’s song Neva Play. RM is set to resume activities with BTS members in mid-2025 after completing military service.
