Great news for ARMYs worldwide, as a major update has just been revealed about the upcoming BTS world tour. First announced by BTS members themselves in July, leader RM gave an update this month that they will be visiting “a lot of countries.”
But that’s not all—there’s an even fresher update regarding the concerts, the tour timeline, and the projected fan turnout per show.
Hyundai Motor Securities has raised its target price for HYBE to 380,000 won, keeping a “Buy” rating on the stock. The firm pointed to the impact of BTS’s long-awaited 2026 world tour and HYBE’s growing success in expanding Western acts as key reasons for its outlook.
BTS is Building Hype Through Global Events
BTS is already setting the stage for their return, despite still being months away. From September 24 to October 5, 2025, the group is screening four concert films in about 2,500 theaters across 65 countries as part of BTS Movie Weeks. The screenings are expected to be followed by a series of pop-up stores to keep fans engaged until the official world tour announcement by HYBE at the end of the year.
Analyst Kim Hyun Yong explained that this strategy is designed to maintain momentum as the group prepares to hit the road next year.
BTS World Tour Details: Dates, Shows, and Audience
The BTS world tour will be their first full-group activity since completing military service. It is planned to run for eight months, from May to December 2026, covering 65 performances worldwide. Total attendance is projected at around 4 million, with an average of 60,000 fans per concert.
HYBE anticipates that operating profits will rise into the 100 billion won range starting in Q2 2026, as concert ticket sales, merchandise, and licensing generate revenue.
This will be BTS’s fifth world tour after Permission to Dance On Stage (2021-2022). They only held shows in Seoul and select US cities and wrapped before their military era was about to begin.
Currently, they are working on their 2026 album, which will be their first comeback in four years. Their last release was the 2022 anthology album, Proof, featuring unreleased songs, fan-favorites, and classic hits.
HYBE’s Wider Global Strategy
While BTS remains HYBE’s biggest driver, the company’s broader strategy is also showing results. HYBE’s U.S. girl group KATSEYE reached No. 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 just over a year after debut. The group will begin its first North American tour in November 2025, with 16 shows attracting up to 80,000 fans. A larger second tour in 2026 is expected to include 25 shows and draw 350,000+ fans.
HYBE is also preparing to debut two project teams aimed at the U.S. and South American markets. This year alone, the entertainment agency has opened offices in Beijing and Mumbai to train aspiring idols from different countries.
This follows a model of localized acts that Hyundai Motor Securities believes strengthens HYBE’s global presence. The firm valued HYBE by applying a 41× price-to-earnings ratio (PER) to its 2026 earnings per share. With BTS’s comeback tour and HYBE’s expansion into Western markets, the firm sees strong upside for the company in the coming year.
