On Sunday, BTS delighted fans with an unplanned seven-minute Weverse live broadcast from a beach in Los Angeles, their second full-group check-in since everyone finished military service. The stream quickly drew over 4.2 million viewers.
The broadcast was spontaneous, chaotic, and intimate. All seven members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, appeared together for the first time in weeks. During this short livestream, BTS members made it very clear that they are working hard on the group’s forthcoming album, out next year.
Jimin turned heads by appearing shirtless after a swim, while V`s wet hug with Jin sparked lighthearted laughs. Jungkook, steady behind the camera, said, “we are alive,” since the group gave an update after 1.5 months.
RM reassured everyone that “we’re doing well,” and Suga confirmed that album production is in full swing. Jin, newly arrived in the U.S. after wrapping his solo tour, warmly greeted viewers with, “I’ve arrived safely and have met the guys again.”
The highlight of the livestream was when Jungkook read a comment, saying, “Miss you, my husband,” and RM replied, “Miss you, wife.”
The BTS leader updated fans, saying, “We’re doing well and working every day.” Jin, who finally joined the group after wrapping his tour, humorously broke down his day, “I wake up, eat, exercise, go to the studio to work, come home, eat again, and sleep. It just repeats.”
j-hope added that they are working like a “factory.” Jungkook wrapped it with a tease, “Once things settle down, we’ll give you spoilers.”
This stream marks their second public OT7 appearance; the first was a surprise July 1 Weverse live, where the group shared their future plans. In a livestream on July 1, BTS revealed they are working on a new group album slated for spring 2026, with a world tour to follow.
Members except Suga have frequently connected with fans after returning to civilian life. On July 14, Jungkook hosted a two-hour solo Weverse concert—covering BTS and solo hits, OSTs, and songs from KPop Demon Hunters.
In addition, he and Jimin recently finished filming their well-received travel variety series Are You Sure?!. V has teased something exciting for August, whereas j-hope and Jin, who were discharged last year, recently wrapped up their solo activities.
While the BTS album is months away, fans can expect solo albums, tours, fashion campaigns, and more solo projects from the members.
