More recently, there have been rumors circulating in the industry about the breakup between BTS’s V and Blackpink’s Jennie. It’s being reported that they recently ended their relationship and are now back to being colleagues and friends.
However, neither HYBE nor YG Entertainment has made any official statements regarding these rumors.
Last year, there was a photo that surfaced showing a man and woman, believed to be Jennie and V, driving on Jeju Island. It caused quite a stir, and at the time, both HYBE and YG Entertainment remained silent about it. But then, photos of V and Jennie dating started circulating, making their relationship seem like a done deal.
In addition, another video came out showing a man and woman holding hands and taking a stroll, who people believed were dating, in France. It caused quite a buzz because V was in France for a fashion event and Jennie was attending the Cannes International Film Festival at the time.
All of this just added fuel to the romance rumors. Interestingly, both agencies didn’t release any separate statements about it. On December 6, Korean media outlets started reporting that both Kpop stars had broken up.
In other news, V and RM from BTS will be enlisting in active duty on December 11 and Jimin and Jungkook will be enlisting on December 12.
