BTS member V made his way onto the US Billboard main single chart Hot 100 with the new song FRI(END)S.
According to Billboard’s lastes chart released on March 25 (local time), V’s latest track FRI(END)S, which dropped on March 15, made its debut at number 65 on the Hot 100.
As a member of BTS, V has previously graced the chart multiple times as part of the group, achieving six number one hits on the Hot 100. This marks his fourth entry on the Hot 100 as a solo artist.
V secured the 79th spot on the Hot 100 two years ago with the OST Christmas Tree from the SBS TV series Our Beloved Summer. Last year, his pre-released track Love Me Again from his debut solo album Layover claimed the 96th position, while the title song Slow Dancing reached 51st place.
V’s FRI(END)S did great on Billboard’s global charts this week, hitting 5th place on the Global 200 and 3rd on the Global (excluding the US).
That’s not all, he also achieved an all-kill on iTunes by reaching the top spot of major music markets.
