It is rare for BTS and BLACKPINK members to interact and publicly support each other’s work.
It’s no secret that BLACKPINK and BTS are two of the biggest names in K-pop. They’ve built a huge following not just in Korea, but all around the world. Both groups, as well as their individual members, have become household names internationally.
Fans are always excited about the possibility of BLACKPINK and BTS members working together. At the same time, there’s also been some tension between the ARMY and BLINK communities, with some fans accusing each other of being overly critical and spreading negativity.
More recently, BTS V showed support for fellow K-pop artist and BLACKPINK member Rosé, who released her debut studio album “rosie” in December 2024.
On January 19, V shared a series of songs on Instagram including Rosé’s “stay a little longer”. It seems that the “Love Me Again” singer has a fondness for this b-side track from the album and wants everyone to give it a listen.
In addition, he shared Mk.gee’s “I Want”, SZA’s “Crybaby”, Kim Feelsun’s “Mama”, Mac Miller’s “Funny Papers”, and Dijon’s “The Dress”.
Rosé’s debut studio album has created quite a splash with “rosie” and her pre-release single “APT.” The album features 12 amazing songs including “toxic till the end”, “3am”, “stay a little longer”, “too bad for us”, “call it the end”, and more.
On the other hand, V released two singles in November and December last year, which charted on Billboard HOT 100.
In other news, it is an exciting year for ARMYs and BLINKs as both BLACKPINK and BTS will reunite to resume group activities. While BTS will make a comeback in the 2nd half of the year once members complete military service, BLACKPINK is reportedly scheduled to return in May.
