BTS’ V spilled the beans about his military status and also mentioned his weight gain.
On the afternoon of February 1, V dropped a message on the fan community platform, Weverse saying, ‘I will do an interim report. 72.5kg achieved,” and added, “I will come again.” He finished his update with a ‘Salute’ and an emoji.
In December of last year, V did a live broadcast with a short hairstyle. During the broadcast, he expressed his determination to stay healthy and strong, not allowing anyone to push him around, even when surrounded by others.
He also mentioned his goal of developing stamina to handle performing 15 concerts without getting tired. Additionally, he playfully predicted a significant weight gain of 24kg, stating that although he currently weighs 62 kg, he would only reach 86 kg.
In December of last year, V and RM headed to the Nonsan Army Training Center to start their military service. V successfully completed around five weeks of basic military training and then underwent three weeks of second-half training at the Army General Administration School.
V is currently serving in the Ssangyong Unit of the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. He’s part of a special detachment within the Military Police Corps, directly under the command of the headquarters.
