V from BTS had fans in a frenzy with the teaser for Type 1 on June 26 at midnight, but it wasn’t confirmed whether it involved new music or a project.
On the afternoon of June 26, BIGHIT MUSIC is scheduled to drop on July 9. The photobook contains 224 pages, featuring moments that the Love Me Again singer wants to share with ARMYs.
For two years, V has been meticulously crafting a photobook as a heartfelt gift for his fans, to be shared with them after his enlistment.
In this photobook, fans will get to see V at his most relaxed, showing his cozy and authentic self as he pauses from his hectic routine to unwind solo.
As revealed by BIGHIT MUSIC, the 28-year-old singer himself chose the travel spot, finalized the title and package contents, actively took part in the planning process, and carefully arranged every detail.
Above all, he opted for a paper certified by The Forest Stewardship Council, a global non-profit organization, working against illegal logging and deforestation to combat climate change and promote worldwide environmental consciousness.
Previously, the BTS leader used the eco-friendly Soy Ink for the printing of his physical album.
ARMYs are showering V with praise for his environmentally conscious decision to use eco-friendly paper in his photobook.
On another note, Type 1 is set for July 9. Another BTS member Jimin is releasing a new album MUSE on July 19.
