More and more details about BTS Jin’s upcoming activities after military discharge are coming to light.
According to industry insiders on July 2, he has been selected to be a torchbearer representing South Korea for the upcoming 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, set to commence on July 27.
Jin is expected to depart soon for this prestigious honor, although the specific details regarding the location and schedule remain under wraps.
BIGHIT MUSIC has not confirmed or denied if the Astronaut singer will participate in the Paris Olympic torch relay.
Following his military discharge on June 12, Jin, the first BTS member to complete his service, promptly resumed his activities with a fan meeting on June 13, coinciding with the group’s 11th debut anniversary.
He is also set to appear as a guest on MBC’s Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island and engage in various endeavors. Moreover, Jin is preparing to return as a singer and currently working on new music.
He previously updated fans about his activities saying that he has filmed a lot of variety shows after completing military service. In another update, Jin revealed he’s next to release music after Jimin drops MUSE on July 19.
On another note, BTS members will reunite for group activities in June 2025.
