Jang Wonyoung of IVE has been announced as the latest ambassador for Bvlgari. The Italian luxury brand confirmed the appointment on the 27th, along with the release of first official campaign images.
With this, the 21-year-old singer joins BLACKPINK’s Lisa, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, and Kim Ji Won as the new representative of the brand.
In the promotional photo, Jang Wonyoung wears BVLGARI earrings, a necklace, and a ring against a minimal background.
Bvlgari shared its reasoning for selecting her for the ambassador role, stating, “Jang Wonyoung’s sincere and bright energy and positive attitude, as well as her constantly growing and challenging attitude, align with the brand’s DNA.”
The IVE member shared her excitement, “I want to awaken the potential within me with Bvlgari and unfold my own possibilities more freely and boldly. I hope you’ll look forward to the dazzling journey with Bvlgari.”
Her first official engagement as ambassador will be at the “Bvlgari Kaleidos: Color, Culture, and Craftsmanship” exhibition in Tokyo this September. The event, Bvlgari’s largest exhibition in Japan in ten years, will focus on the brand’s distinctive approach to color and design.
In addition, she is also associated with high-end brands like Miu Miu, Innisfree, Amuse, Dyson, Tommy Hilfiger, Kérastase, Eider, and more.
Alongside her fashion endeavors, Jang Wonyoung continues her activities as part of IVE. The group released its fourth mini-album IVE SECRET on August 25, featuring the title track XOXZ. She also contributed as a lyricist for the album, continuing the songwriting work she began earlier this year with the track ATTITUDE.
