The 33-year-old actor made a massive donation to support children’s childcare.
On November 5, Varo Entertainment announced that Byeon Woo Seok donated 300 million won to Severance Hospital in support of pediatric patients. The actor made the donation privately, and his agency learned about it later.
He has reached new heights of popularity after the success of his tvN drama “Lovely Runner” with Kim Hye Yoon. While “Lovely Runner” wrapped in May, however, the leads are still making headlines and continue to be fan favorites.
Byeon Woo Seok, who entered the entertainment agency as a model, transitioned to acting in 2016 with a debut in “Dear My Friend.” There has been no stopping since then, he has starred in many hit dramas “Moonshine,” “Record of Youth,” “20th Century Girl,” and “Strong Girl Nam-Soon.”
Despite debuting almost a decade ago, he secured his first leading role in “Lovely Runner” this year. Byeon has also secured many lucrative brand deals with Prada, LG Electronics, Physiogel, Iloom, and more.
