Renowned screenwriters, the Hong Sisters, are gearing up for their next project. Rumor has it that ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo and Go Min Si are in talks to take on the lead roles.
On January 9, Mystic Story, told Joy News24, “It’s true that Go Min Si is preparing for the Hong Sisters’ new work.” However, they did not share any details such as the title, her role, and the specific filming schedule.
Later today, News1 exclusively reported that ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo is currently in discussions to star as the male lead in the Hong Sisters’ upcoming drama, which Go Min Si is also in talks to join.
Acclaimed screenwriters, Hong Sisters (Hong Mi Ran and Hong Jung Eun) are known for their hit dramas “Hotel Del Luna”, “Alchemy of Souls”, “My Girl”, and “You Are Beautiful”. After penning the script for “Can This Love Be Translated?”, it was reported that the famous screenwriters were working on a new drama.
Initially rumored to be “Hotel Del Luna 2”, it has been confirmed that the upcoming drama is a separate work. With Go Min Si already cast as the female lead, all eyes are on whether Cha Eunwoo will join her as the male lead.
Born Lee Dong Min, Cha entered the entertainment industry as a member of ASTRO in 2016. He made a successful transition to the acting world with memorable roles in “True Beauty”, “My ID is Gangnam Beauty”, “Wonderful World”, and more. He is set to star in Netflix’s “The WONDERfools” with Park Eun Bin, it is about a group of quirky friends who gain superpowers.
On the other hand, Go Min Si has appeared in notable works including “The Frog”, “Sweet Home”, “Youth of May”, and more. Her upcoming drama “Your Taste” is scheduled to broadcast this year.
