Korean actor and singer Cha Eunwoo recently visited the historic address of Chaumet, the renowned French jewelry house. The address, located at 12 Place Vendôme in Paris, has been the home of Chaumet since 1812.
Eunwoo was given a tour of the address, which includes the Chaumet salons, workshops, and archives. The actor was impressed by the history and craftsmanship of the jewelry house, which has been creating exquisite pieces for over 240 years.
His visit to the newly renovated space broke the internet and for all the right reasons. The True Beauty actor captivated the fans with his princely visuals. Fans could not help but resist commenting that he appeared coming straight out of a beautiful fantasy.
During the tour, Cha Eunwoo had the opportunity to see some of Chaumet’s most iconic pieces. He also learned about the brand’s unique design philosophy, which is inspired by nature, art, and the history of France.
He was able to see firsthand how Chaumet’s designs have evolved over the centuries, while still maintaining the brand’s signature style and quality. He was also informed by the head of the workshop about intricate craftsmanship behind each piece.
The highlights of his trip were visiting the High Jewelry workshop, meeting Benoît Verhulle, and spending time in the consultation room. In the consultation room, Cha was particularly fascinated by the archives. Archives contain over 50,000 drawings and sketches, as well as historical documents and photographs.
Also during the visit, Cha Eunwoo visited Salon Chopin as well as historical and private salons. Salon Chopin had a Pleyel Piano which was there in honor of a famous composer. Seeing the Pleyel Piano, he could not resist but played a few notes.
After the tour, said that he was honored to have visited such a historic and prestigious jewelry house. He was impressed by the beauty and craftsmanship of the pieces. The ASTRO member shared that he would always remember his visit to Chaumet’s historic address.
A few weeks back, Cha Eunwoo was also seen at the star-studded dinner gala in Paris. The dinner was attended by many celebrities like Song Hye Kyo, Jessica Alba, Coco Rocha, Salma Abu Deif, and many others.
