The official first teaser trailer for the upcoming fantasy movie “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” has arrived. It offers a first look at the characters played by an all-star cast, including Lee Min Ho, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Ahn Hyo Seop, Nana, and Chae Soo Bin.
On February 15, Lotte Entertainment dropped the first teaser of “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” on its official YouTube channel. The 32-second-long teaser perfectly captures the world collapsing around its main characters.
In addition, it was confirmed that Lee Min Ho, Jisoo, and Ahn Hyo Seop starrer “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” will hit theaters in July.
While fans have to wait for the official trailer to get a deeper understanding of the plot, for now, they will have to piece together the story from the intriguing teaser.
“The teaser starts with Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Soo Bin on a train when the bridge beneath them suddenly collapses. It then moves on to other characters played by Lee Min Ho, Jisoo, and Nana.
Based on a wildly popular South Korean web novel and webtoon series, “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” is now making its way to the big screen.
Kim Dok Ja, played by Ahn Hyo Seop, is a reader who gets pulled into the world of his favorite book. He teams up with the book’s hero, Yoo Joong Hyuk, played by Lee Min Ho, to complete challenges and uncover the secrets behind this strange new reality.
Lee Ji Hye (played by Jisoo) is a complex character in the Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint universe. She is a skilled teenage swordswoman with a dark past, haunted by guilt and self-loathing. Despite her tough exterior, she has a compassionate side and is fiercely loyal to those she cares about. Lee admires Yoo Joong Hyuk and joins him on a dangerous mission.
Yoo Sang Ah is Kim Dok Ja’s colleague and close friend, who gets pulled into the scenario with him. She is kind, beautiful, and surprisingly calm under pressure. As someone from the “real world”, she uses her unique perspective to help Dokja survive. Yoo also discovers she has incredible powers, gifted by the Greek gods.
Jung Hee Won (played by Nana)/was a victim of abuse until Kim Dok Ja saved her. Now, with the help of a powerful mythological goddess, she is a brave prosecutor who fights for justice. Jung is fierce, skilled in combat, and determined to protect others from harm.
Lee Hyun Sung, a former military officer, joins the main cast on their first mission. He is a straightforward and sincere man who becomes a loyal companion to Kim Dok Ja.
Meanwhile, “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” is set to release in cinemas in July 2025.
