On January 20, his agency FNC Entertainment announced the news, stating, “We would like to inform you about Jung Yong Hwa’s knee surgery.

Recently, Jung Yong Hwa felt discomfort in his knee and underwent a thorough examination at the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a “right knee meniscus tear.” Based on the medical team’s opinion, he is scheduled to undergo “meniscus tear repair surgery” today.

Regarding his upcoming schedule, after discussing with the artist, we have decided to proceed with the scheduled events, taking into consideration the medical team’s guidance and recommendations, and ensuring that he does not overexert himself.

We apologize for causing concern to the fans with this sudden news. We will do our best to support Jung Yong Hwa’s treatment and speedy recovery.”

Since the announcement, fans have taken to social media to show their support for the K-pop star and wish him a speedy recovery.
