The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has announced its highly anticipated 2026 lineup on September 16 (KST). It is getting global attention with the inclusion of Korean artists BIGBANG, Taemin of SHINee, and rookie girl group KATSEYE.

They will perform alongside headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G during the two-weekend event scheduled for April 10–12 and April 17–19, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

There was a lot of anticipation that BTS would join the Coachella 2026 lineup since all the Bangtan boys are back from the military. On the contrary, BIGBANG, KATSEYE, and SHINee’s Taemin will make their debut at the biggest music festival of the year. This year, BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Jennie, as well as ENHYPEN and XG, performed at Coachella.

BIGBANG Will Begin 20th-Anniversary Celebrations at Coachella 2026

BIGBANG will take the Coachella stage on April 12 and April 19, marking their long-awaited debut at the festival. The group—consisting of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung—will reunite for a performance celebrating their 20th anniversary. Their appearance fulfills plans delayed since 2020, when the pandemic canceled their scheduled set.

For fans, known as VIPs, this performance is especially meaningful, as it signals one of the group’s most significant international stages in recent years. BIGBANG will perform on the closing day, sharing the lineup with Karol G, Young Thug, Kaskade, Iggy Pop, Little Simz, and Laufey.

Since last year, BIGBANG members have been teasing grand 20th-anniversary celebrations, which include new music. It is highly likely that the group will perform new songs in addition to their classic hits.

SHINee’s Youngest Member Taemin to Shine Solo at 2026 Coachella

Taemin is set for his first Coachella appearance as a soloist on April 11 and 18. Since debuting solo in 2014, he has earned acclaim for his artistry, powerful choreography, and experimental music. This marks one of the few times a solo K-pop artist is invited to the festival.

He will share the Saturday lineup (April 11 & 18) with Justin Bieber, The Strokes, Addison Rae, Fujii Kaze, Alex G, PinkPantheress, Green Velvet, Zulan, and more.

KATSEYE Will Make Their Historic Coachella Debut

KATSEYE, the multinational girl group formed through HYBE’s “The Dream Academy,” will make their festival debut on April 10 and 17. With members Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, the group represents a new wave of globally focused K-pop.

They will perform on Coachella’s opening day (April 10 & 17) alongside The XX, Sabrina Carpenter, Disclosure, Central Cee, Sexyy Red, Teddy Swims, and Turnstile. KATSEYE’s set is a landmark moment for both the group and HYBE, as they become one of the youngest acts to join the festival’s storied history.

Over a year into their debut, they have already performed at major US events (Lollapalooza Chicago and VMAs) and will tour North America in the coming months.
