The new MBC romance drama “Crushology 101” generates buzz with the reunion of “Hierarchy” duo Roh Jeong Eui and Lee Chae Min.

As one of the most highly anticipated K-dramas of the year, “Crushology 101” is set to premiere on MBC in Q2. With only two months to go, eager fans are clamoring for more information about the cast, characters, and storyline.

“Crushology 101” Plot

MBC’s latest Friday-Saturday drama, “Crushology 101”, premieres in April and tells the story of Bunny, played by Roh Jeong Eui. After a painful first love, Bunny finds herself caught up in a web of romance with a group of charming men who unexpectedly enter her life. The drama is adapted from a popular Kakao webtoon of the same name, which has drawn in 170 million readers.

Cast and Characters

Roh Jeong Eui stars as Ban Hee Jin, or “Bunny” as she is more commonly known. Bunny is a talented sculpture major at Yein University, with a perfect blend of brains, personality, and charm. Despite her many strengths, she has struggled with love and earned a reputation as a hopeless romantic. Now, as multiple intriguing men enter her life, she’s faced with a fresh set of challenges.

Lee Chae Min takes on the role of Hwang Jae Yeol, a talented visual design major at Yein University. As the head of the visual design department, Jae Yeol is widely respected and admired by his peers, seniors, and even the female students on campus. With ambitions to become an art director, Jae Yeol is a complex character who is both strong and vulnerable. He stands up to those in power and shows kindness and compassion to those who need it. 

Jo Joon Young plays Cha Ji Won, a member of the elite 0.1% who seems to have it all except for what’s truly important. Born into a wealthy conglomerate family, Cha Ji Won has stunning looks, intelligence, charm, and more. He is the epitome of a romance drama lead. Now, curiosity is building around his portrayal of Cha Ji Won, a wannabe returnee student who is about to experience the ultimate campus romance.

So far, no official trailer has been released since the drama airs in April. However, MBC released multiple teasers to give a glimpse into what fans can expect. At the time of announcing their Kdrama lineup for 2025, the network shared the first “Crushology 101” teaser.

“Crushology 101” Release Date

“Crushology 101” starring Roh Jeong Eui and Lee Chae Min will consist of 12 episodes, each lasting 1 hour and 10 minutes. The drama is set to premiere on April 4, 2025, and will conclude on May 10, 2025.
