Dior Edits Caption After Announcing Kim Ji Won as Brand Ambassador

Kim Ji Won’s status as a brand ambassador for Dior has left fans perplexed, following the luxury label’s conflicting social media posts.

Initially, Dior announced Kim Ji Won as their brand ambassador on Twitter and Instagram but later revised the captions.

On July 6, the French luxury label shared a photo of the Queen of Tears from the grand opening of their new Diamond Tower boutique in Taipei.

In the first post, they announced her as house ambassador, saying, “House ambassador Queen of Tears actress Jiwon Kim blends in beautifully with the scenery at the opening of Diamonds Towers boutique in Taipei, in a black dress and dragonfly-studded Lady Dior bag by Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Shortly after the post was shared, fans were overjoyed at her appointment as a Dior ambassador and congratulated her in the comments. After the posts gained traction, Dior revised the caption by removing the words, “House ambassador.”

The luxury fashion house received backlash from fans for revising the caption and has since limited comments.

It is uncertain if she’s become an ambassador for Dior and fans are awaiting an official confirmation from the brand.

Lastly, Kim Ji Won is a brand ambassador for Bvlgari, Bvlgari Allegra, and The Whoo.
