Disney+ has revealed its 2025 K-drama lineup, and it’s packed with exciting new titles and big-name stars. Jun Ji Hyun, Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Da Mi, Park Eun Bin, and Ji Chang Wook are a few of the familiar faces set to appear in the streaming platform’s upcoming dramas.
Earlier this month, Disney+ dropped its newest lineup of Kdramas for 2025. The platform has already had some big wins with its Korean productions, like the award-winning “Moving” and other hits like “The Worst of Evil”, “A Shop For Killer”, “Gangnam B-side”, and “Vigilante”.

Unmasked
Disney+ is kicking off its 2025 lineup with “Unmasked”, an intriguing new series that premiered on January 15.
It’s a behind-the-scenes look at the intense world of investigative journalism. In this series, fearless reporters dig deep to uncover the truth and bring wrongdoers to justice.
“Unmasked” stars Kim Hye Soo as the fiery team leader, Jung Sung Il as the rookie with a lot to prove, and Joo Jong Hyuk as the optimistic assistant director.
The drama is directed by “The Uncanny Counter” director Yoo Sun Dong and written by Kim Ki Ryang. “Unmasked” is currently airing on Disney+.
Hyper Knife
Next up, “Hyper Knife” starring award-winning actress Park Eun Bin and veteran actor Sol Kyung Gu premiere exclusively on Disney+ on March 19, 2025.
“Hyper Knife” is a heart-stopping medical thriller that pits Se Ok (Park Eun Bin), a former medical prodigy, against her manipulative mentor Deok Hee, who pushed her to the edge. This intense cat-and-mouse game promises to deliver heart-pumping suspense, only on Disney+.
The drama is directed by Kim Jung Hyun, whose previous credits include “Crazy Love”, “Jugglers”, and “My Fellow Citizens”.
Knock Off
Disney+ has even more in store for the first half of 2025, with “Knock Off” on the way. One of the most anticipated releases is “Knock Off” featuring an all-star cast, including Kim Soo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah.
Fans are looking forward to seeing if Kim Soo Hyun will replicate the success of “Queen of Tears” with the new Disney+ series.
“Knock Off” follows Sung Joon, played by Kim Soo Hyun, whose life takes a drastic turn after the IMF crisis. He goes from being an average office worker to a major player in the counterfeit market.
It is directed by Park Hyun Suk (“Uncontrollably Fond”, “Hometown”, “Stranger 2”) and penned by Han Jung Joon (“Song of the Bandits”, “Squad 38”, “Missing Nine”).
Nine Puzzles
Disney+ will bring another gripping mystery thriller “Nine Puzzles” to its subscribers in the first half of 2025.
“Nine Puzzle” is a mystery thriller about a serial murder investigation that begins with a mysterious puzzle piece. The series features actors Kim Da Mi and Son Suk Ku and is directed by Yoon Jong Bin.
Yi Na (Kim Da Mi) witnessed her uncle’s murder as a child but was surprisingly suspected of the crime by Han Saem (Son Suk Ku). Years later, Yi Na becomes a skilled criminal profiler and reunites with Han Saem. Together, they work to finally uncover the truth behind her uncle’s tragic death.
Directed by Yoon Jong Bin and Lee Eun Mi is slated to air on Disney+ in the first half of the year.
Low Life
“Low Life”, starring Ryu Seung Ryong, Yang Se Jong, and Im Soo Jung, is set to premiere in the second half of 2025 on Disney+.
This thrilling series, based on Yoon Tae Ho’s popular webtoon, tells the story of unlikely villains chasing a treasure ship.
“Big Bet” and “The Outlaws” director Kang Yoon Sung is at the helm.
“Low Life” follows Oh Hee Dong (Yang Se Jong) who was raised by his uncle, Oh Gwan-Seok (Ryu Seung Ryong). Oh Gwan-Seok receives a job to salvage a shipwreck off Shinan’s coast. The ship is believed to contain treasure, attracting various people to the area.
The Murky Stream
Disney+ Korean originals’ first historical drama series, “The Murky Stream”, is set to be released in the second half of 2025.
The series follows the intertwined fates of three individuals in a lawless Joseon era: Si Yool (Rowoon), a gangster with a hidden past; Choi Eun (Shin Ye Eun), a bright and righteous person; and Jeong Cheon (Park Seo Ham), an aspiring honest government official.
This historical drama is directed by Choo Chang Min (“Seven Years of Night”, “Masquerade”, “Late Blossom”) and writer Chung Sung Il (“All of Us Are Dead”, “The Package”, “Fugitive”).
The Manipulated
Disney+ has lined up “The Manipulated” for release in the second half of the year. This new series is penned by Oh Sang Ho, known for the hit revenge drama “Taxi Driver”. The show boasts a powerhouse cast, including Ji Chang Wook, Doh Kyungsoo (EXO’s D.O.), Lee Kwang Soo, and Jo Yoon Soo.
“The Manipulated” follows Tae Joong (Ji Chang Wook), a regular guy whose life is turned upside down when he’s falsely accused of a brutal crime and sent to prison. When he discovers that Yo Han (Doh Kyungsoo) is behind the setup, Tae Joong vows to take revenge.
