Dua Lipa has expressed interest in collaborating with K-pop’s rising girl group, LE SSERAFIM!
The 29-year-old American singer-songwriter is set to perform in Seoul as part of her world tour “Radical Optimism” in December. She will hold a concert at Gocheok Sky Dome (16000+ capacity) on December 4-5.
Ahead of her concerts, Dua Lipa gave an interview to Korean media outlet My Daily. She spoke about her activities, new album, and reunion with Korean fans.
Notably, the “Levitating” singer talked about collaboration with K-pop artists, including her 2018 collab with BLACKPINK on the hit single “Kiss And Make Up” and her desire to team up with LE SSERAFIM.
“I’ve been a huge fan of BLACKPINK and Hwasa’s music,” Dua shared. “I thought ‘Kiss and Make Up’ was a perfect song for BLACKPINK,” and added, “It was a huge luck that they actually said ‘yes.’”
She further expressed excitement about potentially collaborating with LE SSERAFIM, saying it would be “very fun”
LE SSERAFIM, consisting of Huh Yunjin, Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Kazuha, and Eunchae, is a K-pop girl group under Source Music and HYBE. They debuted in May 2022 and have dropped many successful albums including “UNFORGIVEN,” “EASY,” “CRAZY,” “ANTIFRAGILE,” and more.
Lastly, Dua Lipa shared her eagerness to reunite with Korean fans and fondly recalled her 2018 debut concert in the country.
