It is a historic moment as ENHYPEN, the sensational group under HYBE, takes the stage on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on November 18. This marks the first time in four years that a HYBE artist will appear on MBC.
HYBE and MBC are teaming up once again, and it has been confirmed that HYBE artists will be making appearances on MBC shows.
On November 6, MBC and HYBE made an official announcement through a press release. They’ve signed a business agreement (MOU) to create a healthy program production environment and protect the rights and interests of artists.
The signing ceremony took place at the HYBE building in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and was attended by HYBE CEO Park Ji-won and MBC President Ahn Hyun-joon.
This MOU between HYBE and MBC is all about promoting the growth of the Korean music industry and program content market. They’re joining forces to create a safe and supportive environment for producing top-notch program content that prioritizes the well-being of artists, both physically and mentally.
President Ahn Hyun Joong mentioned that MBC and HYBE are teaming up to create a fair partnership that values artists, music, and content. They’re determined to expand K-POP and K-content without any limitations.
HYBE CEO Park Ji-won expressed sincere gratitude to MBC for recognizing the importance of improving production practices and awareness to advance the K-POP ecosystem.
They hope that this MOU will be the starting point for a future-oriented relationship between an innovative entertainment company and a broadcasting station that spreads the power of music worldwide.
HYBE is making the most of this MOU by planning to actively participate in MBC programs. They’re starting off with the appearance of their artist ENHYPEN on “Show Music Core” on the 18th of this month. It’s been about four years since an artist from HYBE last appeared on MBC.
