Due to knee pain, ENHYPEN’s Jay will be unable to fully participate in the group’s upcoming events in Japan, and may only be able to make a limited appearance.
The 22-year-old idol experienced pain in his knee after ENHYPEN’s Hiroshima concert on June 26.
On June 27, BELIFT LAB shared an update on his health and participation in the upcoming schedule, stating, “Jay has felt pain in his knee after the first concert for the ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR “FATE PLUS” IN JAPAN – HIROSHIMA on June 26 and has since sought medical attention in Japan.”
The label revealed, “He’s been advised that he minimize excessive movements including dancing and performing for the time being.”
Despite his determination to participate in all upcoming events, his agency, BELIFT LAB, has announced that they will be taking a cautious approach and limiting his activities for today’s concert (June 27) in accordance with medical advice.
Due to his knee pain, Jay will be skipping sound check and performing seated without participating in choreography. Additionally, he will not be attending the 2024 Music Core event in Japan, but the remaining six members of ENHYPEN will still perform. BELIFT LAB has vowed to prioritize his health and recovery.
2024 Music Core in Japan is scheduled for June 29-30, taking place at Belluna Dome.
On another note, ENHYPEN will perform in Aichi on August 24-25 and in Miyagi on August 31-September 1 for their FATE PLUS TOUR IN JAPAN. In addition, they’re making a comeback with their second studio album, ROMANCE : UNTOLD on July 12.
