BTS reunited for their third full-group live broadcast today after completing military service. It felt less like a formal update and more like a warm, spontaneous hangout straight from their practice studio.
Going live on December 16, the seven members appeared fresh from dance practice, relaxed, playful, and very honest about their preparations for their March 2026 comeback. The livestream also showed how the BTS members were handling the in-between period.
The chaotic live opened with the members casually dancing to some of their older songs before properly greeting fans. Their easy chemistry reminded viewers how naturally they fall back into sync when they are together.
RM Finally Got His Driving License
It is surprising to know that RM (real name Kim Namjoon) was not a licensed driver up until now. He had been sharing about taking the driving test in his recent personal livestreams.
One of the first personal updates came from RM, who shared a long-awaited milestone. “I finally got my driver’s license,” he revealed. The BTS leader added with a laugh that he still needs more practice, especially with parking. The members quickly jumped in to tease him, joking about rumors that he didn’t pass on his first try.
Update on BTS Comeback in March 2026
Conversation soon shifted to comeback preparations, and this is where the group was especially candid. They joked that their choreography progress is still extremely early. Jungkook bluntly said they’re “not even 10 percent prepared.”
They explained that while progress is still in the early stages, they are already following a steady routine. The members practice during the day and then come together again in the evenings, not always to work, but to talk, relax, and enjoy spending time together as a complete group again.
The group also mentioned that they are already reviewing content and thinking about how new songs will work in live performances.
BTS Members Are Impatient About the Comeback Announcement
Despite the light mood, the members were very open about their impatience. RM openly expressed how difficult the waiting has been, saying, “I’m going crazy because I want to do it quickly. I really hate this year-end.”
He jokingly added that he hopes HYBE will make an official announcement soon. Jimin shared the same feeling, admitting that this period has been harder than expected. The “Who” singer added, “This waiting time feels longer and more frustrating than we thought.”
The members repeatedly shared how much they are looking forward to the future, saying they “can’t wait for 2026.” SUGA reassured fans that things are moving forward behind the scenes. He explained that they have been told an official notice will be released “in the near future.”
As per reports, a key announcement about BTS comeback and world tour is expected this month or in January 2026.
New Year’s Eve Plans
BTS members shared that they have been asked to appear more often lately and agreed to do so since their schedules are currently focused mostly on practice. Toward the end of the broadcast, they suggested setting a specific time for another group live, possibly around the end of the year or the beginning of next year.
They even joked about dressing up properly for a special year-end or New Year’s live to celebrate with ARMY. There was even a brief, joking debate about where a future year-end gathering should be held. They even discussed hosting the party at Jin’s house, noted for its grandeur, before deciding on the company office.
Meanwhile, BTS is set for March 2026 comeback, followed by a massive world tour with reportedly 65 shows.
