The star-studded event was held to celebrate the launch of Billboard Korea.

On Tuesday, August 27, Billboard K Power 100 was held at Yeongbin Hall of Shilla Hotel in Seoul.

Billboard President Mike Van as well as editor-in-chief Hannah Karp also attended the ceremony.

The star-studded attendee list included EXO-CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin), Kep1er, VIVIZ, BamBam, FIFTY FIFTY, STAYC and THE BOYZ all came together for the event.

In addition, international artists and groups such as Filipino groups SB19 and BINI as well as Isyana Sarasvati and Brazilian singer Luísa Sonza attended the event.

The Billboard K Power 100 event, held at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, launched Billboard Korea and commemorated the rich 100-year history of Korean popular music. The event highlighted K-pop’s significant contribution to the global music industry.

With its debut, Billboard Korea has joined the global Billboard family, alongside other international editions such as Billboard Japan, Billboard Arabia, Billboard Spain, and Billboard Brazil.

Billboard Korea, under PMC Group, will promote K-culture (including K-music) globally through PMC’s media brands like Variety, WWD, Rolling Stone, and more.
