EXO-Ls were disappointed by reports earlier today that EXO’s winter comeback has been delayed or canceled due to a dispute between three of its members CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin) and SM Entertainment.

On June 11, CBX reassured fans that their conflict with SM Entertainment would not have any impact on their group activities.

In an official statement, CBX shared that the press conference on the 10th was held to raise awareness of the unfairness of paying 10% of sales for activities under the artist’s name to SM, which violated the contract first.

Regarding EXO’s comeback, they revealed that this has nothing to do with the continuation of EXO’s activities as a whole, and added, we once again promise fans that CBX will continue to faithfully promote SM and EXO’s activities as a whole in the future.

On June 10, Kim Dong Jun and Cha Ga Won held a press conference, exposing alleged mistreatment by SM Entertainment.

At the press conference, a representative of INB100 stated that after the previous negotiations concluded, SM had changed its stance. They failed to honor the agreed-upon 5.5% album distribution fee and instead requested 10% of the revenue generated from artists’ individual activities, such as album sales and endorsements.

In response, SM Entertainment has decided to take legal action against CBX and firmly refuted the rumors.
