Fans are supporting Stray Kids’ Changbin after he was bullied online for his body.
More recently, some posts went viral with fat-shaming comments against the 25-year-old rapper. These posts with fat-shaming captions have already amassed millions of views.
Changbin faced body-shaming after two photos of him surfaced online. One showed him confidently performing on stage in a tank top, while the other was a candid shot of him walking at the airport.
Fans argued that the airport photo was taken at an unflattering angle, capturing him mid-step, and was intentionally shared to mock his appearance. The antis did not just stop at calling him fat, they even left hateful comments about his visuals.
Many haters asked him to ‘lose weight’, ‘take care of his idol image’, or ‘switch his job to a comedian.’
STAYs are outraged that those images were deliberately chosen to fuel hurtful comments and bully the Stray Kids member.
Changbin has a strong, muscular body that he works hard to maintain through regular exercise and training.
It has left fans furious that Changbin is being bullied for his muscular body, with some critics even calling him fat.
They are firing back with a fierce display of support on social media, using #STAYsLoveChangbin. Some of the posts with fat-shaming comments have already been deleted all thanks to the outpouring of support received by the K-pop star.
On the work front, Stray Kids will kick off their world tour, dominATE, with four shows in Seoul on August 24-25 and August 31 to September 1.
