BTS SUGA and RM snubbed from Seoul Music Awards nominations

Frustration and outrage among BTS fans over SUGA and RM being snubbed from the 33rd Seoul Music Awards nominations. It’s disheartening when your favorite artists don’t receive the recognition they deserve.

‘Seoul Music Awards Rigged’ and ‘AGUST D Deserves Better’ are currently trending on Twitter. Fans are disappointed that SUGA’s D-Day and RM’s Indigo were not nominated despite breaking many records and being eligible.

D-Day and Indigo were undoubtedly among the best rap albums of 2022 and 2023. It is understandable that ARMYs are enraged over SUGA and RM’s absence from 33rd Seoul Music Awards nominations.

In fact, D-Day was one of the highlight releases of the year that broke many records and garnered praise from music critics. It makes no sense why the jury overlooked these sonic masterpieces by RM and SUGA.

It is worth noting that RM’s Indigo did not make it to the MAMA Awards 2023 Nominations. Fans are questioning the criteria used by the jury for selecting nominees. It’s understandable to want transparency and fairness in the selection process.

In addition, four members of BTS including Jungkook, Jimin, V, and J-Hope have been nominated for multiple categories. The aforementioned members are nominated in various categories including Main Prize (Bonsang), Hallyu Special Awards, Popularity Award, and Male Solo Singer.
