Hyemi, a member of the girl group Fiestar, has announced that she is taking the next step in her personal life.
In a heartfelt handwritten note on September 3, Fiestar’s Hyemi aka Yel announced her engagement and upcoming wedding.
She shared the news, saying, “Hello. This is Yel (Hyemi), who loves you all. Today, I am thrilled and want to share some special news with you. This coming fall, in October, I will be getting married to the person I love. I am grateful to have met someone precious and will be making a lifelong promise to them this fall.”
Hyemi further added, “This year, along with the news of Fiestar’s reunion, I am able to share the great joy of my marriage with you, making it an unforgettable year for me. I deeply appreciate your warm support and encouragement, and I wish for love and happiness to be with us in the future. Thank you.”
Yel (Hyemi)’s fiancé is a businessman and producer who keeps a low public profile. The couple plans to tie the knot in October at a private ceremony in Seoul, surrounded by close family and friends.
Meanwhile, Fiestar announced their return through a self-produced project six years after their official disbandment. The group released a remake of their hit song You’re Pitiful on Saturday, August 31.
