FIESTAR has been going strong since 2012!
It has been a wild ride for the 5-member girl group. They have had a lot of ups and downs, changing agencies multiple times and even disbanding in 2018. However, they are back together now and ready to continue making music.
FIESTAR, who debuted in 2012 with hits like “Vista,” “You’re Pitiful,” and “Apple Pie,” disbanded in 2018. However, thanks to continued fan support, the members have reunited and signed an exclusive contract with Bomnal Entertainment.
To mark their 12th debut anniversary last year, they released a remake single “You’re Pitiful 2024 ver.” and plan to pursue more systematic and diverse activities going forward.
The group leader Cao Lu went above and beyond to reunite FIESTAR and keep the group together. She declined solo contract offers from various agencies. Instead, Cao took the initiative to find a company that would allow the entire group to work together. They ultimately choose Bomnal Entertainment to continue their activities.
FIESTAR is also working on a remake album, which will offer fans a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The album will feature reimagined versions of their debut song and signature hit “VISTA,” updated with modern flair while retaining the original emotions.
FIESTAR debuted under FAVE Entertainment in 2012 and continued their journey with the agency till 2018. In 2014, member Cheska left the agency and the group and they continued their activities as five. After prolonged inactivity, their journey came to an end when the members’ contracts expired and they chose not to renew, as reported on May 15, 2018. The group officially disbanded on April 30, 2018. Afterward, the members went on to explore individual pursuits: Cao Lu, Jei, and Linzy focused on acting, while Hyemi and Yezi launched solo music careers.
FIESTAR is set to take the stage at the upcoming KPOP SUPER CONCERT IN MACAU, happening on April 27. This performance will take place before the release of their remake album. In the meantime, he group plans to further engage with their fans through various content and activities in the lead-up to the album’s release.
