On April 18, Attorney Kim Byeong Ok, the legal representative of ATTRAKT, mentioned that the defendants aired biased content without confirming the accuracy of the information.

He further stated that they are taking legal action because false information was disclosed, leading to defamation of the agency and CEO Jeon Hong Joon.

On August 19, 2023, SBS’ Unanswered Questions aired one-sided content 10 days before the verdict of the preliminary injunction lawsuit filed by three former FIFTY FIFTY members.

During that period, viewers criticized the broadcast, mentioning that it showed a one-sided bias.

This led to 1,146 complaints being lodged, making it the show with the highest number of complaints received by the Korea Broadcasting Standards Commission.

CEO Jeon Hong Joon explained that the company faced a serious threat to its existence due to the tampering incident. He stressed the importance of avoiding biased broadcasts that harm the overall image of the K-pop industry and create confusion.

Noting the absence of a genuine apology from the defendants, he mentioned the decision to take legal action. Despite expecting a tough journey ahead, the company is committed to defending its reputation and seeking justice for the entire K-pop community.

In other news, FIFTY FIFTY is set to relaunch in June 2024 with new members and Keena.
