Their agency, ATTRAKT, has sued Warner Music Korea for substantial damages.

On October 23, the agency announced that they had filed a 20 billion won lawsuit against Warner Music Korea’s former CEO Clayton Jin and current Executive Director Hyung Geun Yoon for alleged contract tampering.

ATTRAKT stated, “Warner Music Korea played a crucial role in the tampering (related to the contract dispute with former FIFTY FIFTY members). Warner Music Korea held a tampering meeting with the parents of the former members at their headquarters on May 17, 2023, and we have secured all key evidence from that time.”

They added, “Due to illegal actions that interfered with the normal activities of former members of FIFTY FIFTY, our company has suffered immense damage.”

They vowed to hold former CEO Clayton Jin and Executive Director Hyung Geun Yoon responsible for the illegal actions that harmed the company.

ATTRAKT’s CEO, Jeon Hong Jun, criticized Warner Music Korea for trying to take the agency’s valuable artists. He called this action “shameless” and said it caused significant harm.

Jeon plans to sue Warner Music Korea for 20 billion won in damages initially, but may seek more compensation later.

Previously, the agency filed a 13 billion won lawsuit against former members Saena, Sio, and Aran. After leaving the group, they are set to debut as a 3-member girl group, ablume, under a new agency.

In June 2023, ATTRAKT halted FIFTY FIFTY’s activities, citing health concerns. The agency claimed Warner Music Korea contacted the members during this time, convincing them to terminate their contracts.
