On November 19, Billboard shared an interview with FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena held in Los Angeles, USA. In the interview, Keena talked about Cupid’s success and attending the prestigious Billboard Music Awards.
Despite attending the event solo due to a dispute over the group’s exclusive contract, Keena couldn’t contain her joy as she expressed, “This is so surreal, I can not believe I am here, I feel honored and grateful for being nominated for the BBMAs.”
When asked about FIFTY FIFTY’s future, she responded saying, “It took me so long to get back to everyone who loves and supports us.” Lastly, she was asked about her favorite song, she mentioned Falling by Harry Styles.
FIFTY FIFTY received nominations in the ‘Top Duo/Group Category’ and ‘Top Global K-Pop Song’ categories at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.
Excluding Keena, Saena, Sio, and Aran received contract termination notices during an exclusive contract dispute with their agency ATTRAKT.
