The recruitment for the second group of FIFTY FIFTY is in full swing. All eyes are on ATTRAKT as they gear up for an exciting new chapter after the massive success of Cupid.
Local media reports that ATTRAKT, the agency behind FIFTY FIFTY, recently held a preliminary audition to find fresh talent for the group. The audition took place at Kallang Place in Singapore on February 3rd (local time).
The audition aimed to find four talented individuals to join FIFTY FIFTY. Applicants had to be 14 years or older and residents of Southeast Asia. Around 120 people applied for the audition, and now the successful candidates will move on to the final round held in Thailand on February 17.
After contract termination with former members, ATTRAKT officially announced that they will be reorganizing the group with Keena at the center. With the incredible success of Cupid on the US Billboard chart and the growing expectations for Fifty Fifty, CEO Jeon Hong-jun expressed his determination to bring the group back as soon as possible.
ATTRAKT is going all out in their search for new members by holding auditions in various countries like Japan, Korea, and Singapore. David Yong from Evergreen Group Holdings, who announced his 10 billion won investment in ATTRAKT last year, even joined as a judge.
ATTRAKT has revealed their plans to finalize the group lineup by April and release new songs by June. In addition, former members of FIFTY FIFTY are also on the lookout for a new agency.
