Former BBGIRLS member Youjoung (33) and actor Lee Kyu Han (44) have officially broken up after announcing their relationship nearly a year ago.
On August 26, her new agency R&D Company confirmed to My Daily, stating, “It is true that they recently broke up.”
Youjoung and Lee Kyu Han first met in February 2023 while co-starring on KBS 2TV’s reality show Rustically: In The Secret Island.
Although they were rumored to be dating in July of the same year, they initially denied the speculation.
Their dating rumors emerged again in September 2023, they finally confirmed their relationship. However, their romance has now come to an end, and they have gone back to being simply colleagues.
After making his acting debut in 1998, Lee Kyu Han has appeared in several dramas including Battle For Happiness, She Would Never Know, Again My Life, Becoming Witch, and more. He is set to star in SBS’ new drama The Judge From Hell, premiering in September.
On the other hand, Youjoung stepped into the spotlight as a member of Brave Girls in 2016. After leaving Brave Entertainment, the group signed with Warner Music Korea in April 2023 and rebranded as BBGIRLS.
Youjoung left BBGIRLS after their contract expired with Warner Music Korea in April 2024. She has signed with R&D Company to pursue a career as a soloist.
