After dropping the new album Don’t Worry Be Happy earlier this month, the former D1CE member, Woo Jin Young, has made another major announcement. On February 24, Woo Jin Young took to Instagram to share news of his upcoming military enlistment.
In his latest Instagram post, he shared, “Hello, this is Jinyoung Woo. Come March 4, 2024, I have accepted the call of the nation to serve in the military. You might have been surprised by the sudden news, but as a proud young man of Korea, I will be back safely!”
In addition, he expressed his determination to make his fans proud and to meet them as a more elegant and mature ‘Woo Jin Young’. Lastly, Jin Young wrote, “Many of you who have cared and cheered me on all this time, please wait and have a happy and joyful day!!”
Born on May 31, 1997, the former D1CE member is turning 27 this year. In Korea, it is mandatory for all-bodied men between the ages of 18 to 35 to complete military service of 18 to 21 months.
