Former GIRLKIND member Xeheun has been spotted dancing alongside Yugyeom on his ongoing tour.
Now known as KANNI, she is accompanying the GOT7 member Yugyeom for his tour “Trusty”. He began his tour in Asia last year and is now set to kick off the North American leg of the world tour.
More recently, eagle-eyed fans have made a surprising discovery, a former GIRLKIND member Xeheun has joined the background dance crew for Yugyeom’s tour.
She was part of the five-member girl group GIRLKIND, formed by Nextlevel Entertainment in January 2018. Unfortunately, the group disbanded after 4 years in 2022 due to internal conflicts. The group did not gain much attention due to limited activities and eventually disbanded.
Kanni rose to popularity for being a contestant on the survival show “Produce 101” in 2016. The 25-year-old K-pop star and dancer represented her management agency Nextlevel Entertainment. She debuted with GIRLKIND and its subunit GIRLKIND XJR in 2018.
When the group disbanded in 2022, she changed her stage name from Xeheun to KANNI and began solo activities. She later signed with the agency Space Sound and made her first solo comeback with the single “Aprillia” in 2023.
Now, fans were delightfully surprised to see her photos with Yugyeom on the stage. They are hoping she will join him for the US stops as well.
Meanwhile, Yugyeom will begin the North American leg of the tour “Trusty” with shows in Toronto (March 20), New York (March 21), Chicago (March 23), Houston (March 25), Dallas (March 26), and LA (March 28-29).
