The former Teen Top member signed an exclusive contract with Modenberry Korea. The agency represents artists including former DIA member Somyi, ex-Nine Muses member Eunji, former Girl’s Day member Hwang Jiseon, and former Bandit member Seungeun.

On May 13, Modenberry Korea announced Bang Min Su as their new signed artist via an official statement.

“We have signed an exclusive contract with Bang Min Su, a former member of Teen Top. He will be active in areas such as web entertainment and advertising, rather than music or acting in the future.”

C.A.P. debuted as the leader and main rapper of Teen Top in 2010, known for hits like “No More Perfume For You,” “Miss Right,” and more. He left the group after a controversial livestream in 2023 in which he lit a cigarette and lashed out at a fan who told him not to smoke. Two days after the broadcast, Bang was removed from the team, and his contract with TOP Media was terminated.

Last June, he appeared in a short documentary titled “The K-pop Dream Factory” on the British channel’s program “Unreported World.”

The 32-year-old rapper talked about his K-pop journey, which started at the age of 18, “I thought I would get to do cool things on stage, but in reality, I just had to act like a doll.” He blamed the fans, labels, and artists themselves for contributing to the “rotten culture.”

Bang Min Su will now resume activities under the new label, Modenberry Korea, and fans are looking forward to his return.
