Yulhee, the ex-wife of FTISLAND’s Minhwan, has publicly accused the singer of infidelity.
On October 24, Yulhee uploaded a long video on YouTube where she talked about her marriage and the reason she gave up custody of her three kids.
She claimed that Minhwan frequented adult entertainment establishments, including brothels and karaoke rooms with service girls, during their marriage.
In response to the allegations, his agency FNC Entertainment announced, “We intend to halt all media activities, including broadcasts featuring Choi Minhwan with his children.”
The agency explained, “Although it’s challenging for us to fully understand the personal issues related to his marital problems, Choi Minhwan feels responsible for disappointing the public and viewers. Therefore, he will stop all media activities, including broadcasts with his children.”
In her YouTube video, Yulhee revealed that she had endured past conflicts with Choi Minhwan, including fights and inappropriate behavior when he was drunk. However, after discovering his visits to adult entertainment establishments, she couldn’t continue living in the same house.
She also mentioned prior incidents including Choi Minhwan flaunting money and inappropriately touching her in front of their family.
Yulhee shared audio evidence of Minhwan’s booking at an adult entertainment venue. The recording revealed his conversations with an alleged employee, where he requested a “lady.”
The employee attempted to discourage him, suggesting he should “go home.” However, Choi grew irritated, particularly when advised to “go on a trip with your kids and wife,” responding, “Don’t say such nonsense.”
Choi Minhwan has been starring in “The Return of Superman” with his three kids, Jaeyul, Ayoon, and Arin since April. Initially, he received widespread sympathy and support for single-handedly caring for his kids just months after his divorce.
However, amidst growing public backlash, Choi Minhwan has now halted all media activities due to increasing calls for his departure from the show.
