G-Dragon and TWICE’s Sana dating rumors ignited in May 2025 after the BIGBANG star attended the Coldplay concert in Seoul. During the event, the BIGBANG leader tagged Sana in an Instagram story with a shocked face emoji, which he later deleted. However, it was too late, and his small action fueled debates about whether it hinted at a romantic connection.
The rumors grew when G-Dragon appeared as a guest on Dex and Sana’s Fridge Interview, a YouTube variety show. In the teaser released on May 30, Sana called him “Korea’s legendary artist,” while Dex humorously greeted him with a bouquet, calling him “Your Majesty.” Their playful chemistry fueled more discussions, though many suspected it was just friendly banter.
G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation, clarified the situation today. They explained that the Instagram tag was simply a friendly gesture after filming the Fridge Interview together. The agency revealed that the TOO BAD rapper had recorded the show on April 14, just before the Coldplay concert.
He tagged Sana as a casual shout-out, not realizing it would cause dating rumors. They also admitted they did not address the rumors earlier to avoid spoiling his show appearance. Here is a complete statement from Galaxy Corporation released on June 2
We want to correct misunderstandings regarding the recent dating rumors surrounding G-Dragon.
He participated in filming for the YouTube variety show ‘Dex and Sana’s Fridge Interview’ on April 14, the day after MBC’s ‘Good Day’ final broadcast. When posting concert photos after attending Coldplay’s Seoul performance on April 22, where TWICE appeared as special guests, he simply tagged Sana’s personal SNS account as a friendly gesture shortly after their filming together.
‘Fridge Interview’ was arranged due to his friendship with Dex, and it was decided that Sana would co-appear the day before filming. The reason we didn’t clarify the dating rumors initially was that we thought it might spoil the ‘Fridge Interview’ appearance.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon is currently focused on promoting his music and the 2025 world tour. He released a solo studio album after almost 11 years in February and embarked on a world tour. Kicked off in March, he is set to perform in Macau next on June 6-8. On the other hand, Sana’s group, TWICE, gears up to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary with a studio album, This Is For, out on July 11, 2025.
