It seems like G-Dragon’s October comeback rumors were true after all!
The 36-year-old rapper has been working on his solo comeback since last year and fans would not have to wait long for his new music.
According to News 1 on October 8, G-Dragon has confirmed October 25 as his solo comeback date and is currently putting the finishing touches on preparations.
It has been seven years since his last solo album, ‘Kwon Ji Yong’, released in June 2017. He is now set to break his solo hiatus with a new album. Notably, this will be his first comeback after switching agencies.
The upcoming few months are going to be super fun and exciting for BIGBANG and G-Dragon fans. BIGBANG, reunited last month on stage after 7 months, is in talks to perform as a group at the 2024 MAMA Awards, taking place in LA and Japan next month.
In addition, there had been reports about G-Dragon renting a concert venue to hold a grand show in November.
He wrapped up recording for tvN’s popular talk show “You Quiz on the Block” a few days earlier. Fans can expect exclusive insights into his highly anticipated new album during the episode.
On another note, he recently attended 2NE1’s concert and participated in the BABYMONSTER’s comeback title track “DRIP” as a co-composer.
