K-pop singer G.Soul has found himself in hot water as he is currently under police investigation for allegedly stealing alcohol from a convenience store.
The 36-year-old artist, whose real name is Kim Ji Hyun, has been accused of shoplifting.
As reported by Sports Seoul on May 24, G.Soul was arrested for stealing alcohol from a convenience store in Gangseo-gu on the night of April 19, at approximately 11 pm, while he was drunk.
He is currently abroad, but the police intend to summon him for questioning upon his return. The authorities will investigate the allegations against him in a forthcoming interview.
His agency has yet to comment on the matter and provide fans an update about his current status.
On another note, he made his debut under JYP Entertainment in 2015 with the EP, Coming Home. However, he later left JYP in 2017 and signed a contract with H1ghr Music.
