Rumors have been swirling about (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua and Taiwanese actor Kai Ko Chen Tung’s alleged romance, and now her agency has broken their silence.
On July 17, Cube Entertainment dismissed the rumors of (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua dating actor Kai Ko Chen Tung, labeling them as “baseless” and “completely unfounded” in a statement to OSEN.
The rumors about her love life started when she shared a series of photos on social media on the 16th, captioned “Hey~ I Love You.”
It was the 33-year-old actor’s comment that got people talking. He playfully commented with a winking face emoji, leaving fans wondering if there was something romantic brewing between the two.
Chinese netizens suspected Shuhua and Kai Ko Chen Tung were dating after she attended his birthday party in Taiwan last month, and their recent social media exchange only fueled the rumors.
Born in May 1991, the Taiwanese actor has played memorable roles in You Are The Apple of My Eye (2011), Till We Meet Again (2021), A Choo (2020), Tiny Times (2013), and more.
Lastly, (G)I-DLE made their comeback with the album I SWAY on July 8 and the members are currently promoting it on music broadcasts.
